Summer Strawberry-Cherry Crumble
What's a summer BBQ without dessert?
This crumble is the perfect partner for some vanilla ice cream

Filling
0.5kg pitted and halved cherries (2.5 - 3 cups)
1kg strawberries, quartered (5.5 cups or so)
3/4 cup of brown sugar
1-2 tbsp of cornstarch
Crumble
3/4 cup of brown sugar
12 tablespoons chilled butter or margarine
2 cups old fashioned oats
1 cup all-purpose flour
1. Preheat oven to 400 F 2. Mix Strawberries & Cherries in a bowl with brown sugar & cornstarch 3. Place the mixture into a 9 inch pie plate 4. Combine brown sugar, oats, butter, flour 5. Spread over berry mixture 6. Bake for ~35-40 minutes, until topping in golden brown and fruit is bubbling.
* If you like your crumble less thick, omit the cornstarch
